Moab Trail Marathon 2026

The Moab Trail Marathon is one of the premier trail running events in the United States, set in the spectacular Kane Creek Canyon area just south of downtown Moab. The two-day event offers distances for every level of trail runner, with Saturday featuring a full trail marathon, half marathon, 10K, and Kids K.

The course challenges runners with technical slickrock, sandy washes, and canyon terrain while rewarding them with panoramic views of red rock formations, the Colorado River, and the La Sal Mountains. The Saturday half marathon also hosts USATF Trail Half Marathon National Championship categories.

Registration is limited to 900 participants per day, and Saturday races typically sell out by early June. November in Moab provides ideal running conditions with cool temperatures and clear desert skies.
