About This Event
The Moab Ho Down Mountain Bike Festival is a grassroots celebration of mountain biking culture that has been a staple of the Moab cycling community since 2006. Originally founded by Tracy Bentley of Chile Pepper Bike Shop, the festival returned in 2024 after a four-year hiatus and has quickly re-established itself as one of the premier fall mountain bike events in the region.
The multi-day festival features a mix of competitive and social events including group rides on Moab's legendary singletrack trails, enduro-style racing, mountain bike film screenings, a famous costume party, and adaptive rider categories.
The Ho Down is more than just a bike festival — it's a fundraiser for the local mountain biking community. Proceeds support the Moab Bike Park and local trail construction and maintenance projects through the Moab Mountain Bike Association.
