About This Event
The Dead Horse Ultra is one of the biggest trail running events in the country, organized by Mad Moose Events and set on the legendary Magnificent Seven trails off Gemini Bridges Road north of Moab. The event offers four distance options — 15K, 30K, 50K, and 50 miles.
The course features the technical terrain that has made Moab famous: slickrock passages, sandy washes, and exposed desert singletrack with sweeping views of Arches National Park, the La Sal Mountains, and the Moab Valley.
The Dead Horse Ultra sells out year after year, and early registration is strongly recommended. The November timing provides perfect running weather. The event is part of the Mad Moose Events Triple Crown of Moab alongside the Canyonlands Half Marathon and the Canyonlands Ultra.
