Professional rodeo comes to the Old Spanish Trail Arena with bull riding, barrel racing, and roping — a genuine slice of canyon-country western tradition.
About This Event
The Canyonlands PRCA Rodeo brings professional rodeo athletes to Moab's Old Spanish Trail Arena each spring for bull riding, bareback and saddle bronc, barrel racing, team roping, and steer wrestling. It's a sanctioned stop on the professional circuit, so the competition is the real thing — but the atmosphere stays small-town friendly.
Expect a full evening of family entertainment: mutton bustin' for the kids, food vendors, and a grandstand crowd that mixes multi-generation Moab ranching families with curious visitors.
The arena sits a few miles south of downtown on US-191. Evening performances mean you can spend the whole day in the parks and still make the rodeo.
